Is this extension cable compatible with other proximity probe systems?

The 330130-060-02-05 extension cable is primarily designed for the Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm system and may

not be compatible with other systems. Using components from different systems

can affect performance and accuracy. 



Can this extension cable be used in oil-exposed environments?

While silicone tape is included as an alternative to connector protectors, it is not recommended for use in turbine

oil environments. For such applications, the FluidLoc cable option is advisable, as it prevents oil

and other liquids from leaking out of the machine through the cable’s interior. 



What is the significance of the CableLoc design?

The CableLoc design ensures a pull strength of 330 N (75 lbf), enhancing the durability and reliability

of the cable connection between the probe and extension cable. 



What temperature range does this extension cable support?

The standard extension cable is rated for temperatures up to 177°C (350°F). For applications requiring

higher temperatures, an extended temperature range (ETR) version is available, with the probe

rated up to 218°C (425°F) and the extension cable up to 260°C (500°F).
